Christophe G Libanotis: Seychelles

Hailing from the Indian Ocean islands of the Seychelles, Christophe Libanotis was born into an artistic family on the Bay of Anse La Mouche. Christophe discovered his creative talents at a very young age. Starting with wood sculptures and paint at the age of seven, he later found an affinity with the great impressionist and was inspired to create works of art that dazzle the imagination with light and shadow. Christophe’s work has been showcased in galleries across the island’s capital. Nature is Christophe’s primary source of inspiration. Using a myriad of colors and brush strokes, he translates his observations of the natural world onto canvas - as vivid and emotive as life itself. It was only a few years ago, Christophe left his beloved islands for the first time to settle in Las Vegas with family. He is fascinated with American history, wildlife and fauna. The landscapes of the great southwest have inspired him to produce stunning landscapes, portraying an environment far flung from his native homeland.
